• Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP)
• Certified Solidworks Professional – Advanced Weldments (CSWPA-WD)

Engineering experience

• Experienced, enthusiastic, and innovative mechanical design engineer with extensive experience
  in machine and product design and analysis, robotics, factory, and production automation
• Servos, ballscrews, cam and linkages for motion control
• Extensive material (metals and plastics) and finishes/coatings experience
• Sheet metal, weldments, fastenings, castings, and injection molding.
• Knowledge of DFM and PFMEA
• Machined, cast, forged, fabricated and molded parts design
• Complex assemblies and layouts including gear, cam, linkage and drive design
• Continuous motion machine and indexing machine design
• Structural and stress analysis, including FEA, good working knowledge of GDT
• Design optimization, design for manufacture, design for assembly, FMEA
• Chassis, power train and suspension design
• Jig, fixture and tooling design including composites
• Full machine design experience from customer part samples and prints through to installation and service including BOM, parts lists, spares lists, layouts, schematics, floor plans and misc. documentation.etc.

Software experience

• AutoCAD - 15 years experience
• Mechanical Desktop - 5 years experience
• Solidworks - 8 years experience Certified Solidworks Professional (CSWP)
• Cosmos FEA - 3 years experience
• Inventor - 12 years’ experience
• I am experienced at photo editing and web design and most office applications. I have had my work featured in trade magazines.
