- At the headend, troubleshoot from fiber patch to universal broadband router.
- Assist Inside Plant Engineers in responding to outages related to node issues.
- Assist Inside Plant Engineers with node builds, node splits, and cutover projects.
- Assist Outside Plant Engineers with node balancing.
- Troubleshoot forward and return issues related to SNR and MER.
- Replace faulty hubs and headend equipment such as receivers, transmitters, combiners, splitters, and gateways.
- Ability to use a wide variety of signal-measuring tools including oscilloscopes, light meters, and RF meters.
