-Tenure: 29 years of satellite command, control, and payload communications ground terminal operation and maintenance for eight Joint, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Diplomatic Information Security Agency, Department of State (DoS), NASA, NGA, NR Operational Center (NROC), and other Intelligence Communication agencies, and Network Operations Centers and Defense Communication Systems (DCS) employing hybrid networks across the Defense Global Information Grid (GIG). Utilized a variety of tools to monitor and optimize network and data global infrastructure including but not limited to Tivoli, What's Up Gold, Remedy, FORMULA, Alcatel SMS, Cisco Works, and human-machine interfaces IAW Defense Information Systems Circulars, Industry Engineering Standards, NASA Procedural Requirement (NPR) 1600 series, CNSSI 4000s, NIST 800-47, and DPTSO Engineering parameters. Assemblages include switches, multiplexers, and administration of over 12 networks to provide data, voice, video, and backbone connectivity circuits to international and CONUS DoD and other US government agencies. Additional duties include operation and maintenance of network COMSEC aids and serial (KG-95, KG-194 (a), KIV-7, KIV-19, KGX-93) and IP (KG-175 A/B/D TACLane, KG-75/FASTLane, KG-235 Sectera, KS-252, MCU-110B, MYK-16B/A, ECU-400, KI-18, KI-700, KG-250 series, ASIC applications, KGR-42, HAIPRE products, and (KGR/T) KG-287 encryptors. Maintain chain of custody of firefly, traditional, and tape key materials for multiple accounts at INSCOM and other DoD organizations. Employs, troubleshoots and configures Electronic Counter Counter Measures (ECCM). -IA/ISSE/System Administration: Constructed SSP IAW with NIST 800-53, National Security Systems-CNSSI 4005, and 4009. Executed role as COMSEC Controlling Authority, Hand receipt holder, AF COMSEC Responsible Officer (CRO), COMSEC account quarterly inspector, and COMSEC equipment administrator for configuration and network design. Provides guidance to management for current and proposed investments in telecommunications and network facilities. Constructs the overall system architecture of the technical solution, including external and internal interface analysis, internal interface definition, and functional requirement allocations.
