Shadowed physicians and Family Nurse Practitioners in assessments, diagnosis, laboratory orders and interpretation, prescription of medication, patient education, and creation of a plan of care for the delivery of patient care as a Nurse Practitioner student. Facilitated ongoing quality of healthcare service for patients with chronic diseases and referrals for those that required a higher level of evaluation and treatment. My career goal is to become a team member of a healthcare organization that focused on the care and well-being of patients and their families; where my knowledge, skills, and background in the healthcare field can be fully utilized.
