The elevator speech of my background is this; From systems programming and installation of DB2 on the mainframe using SMP/E and being an application DBA on Oracle, MS SQL Server, Sybase and it also lead to modeling. I am a modeling expert in Erwin. When CA, who owned the Erwin product at the time needed a data architect to corral two teams of 15 modelers each they hired me to bring it in as one unified data warehouse. I've been doing data architecture ever since. I am a metadata expert with MDM and data profiling as well as process work flow design. I've done design for OLTP, OLAP, Data Lakes and migration to the cloud. I'm self taught AWS and can apply data design and quality practices to any AI or ML system. As a data architect with over 20 years experience, I have migrated databases repeatedly. I have many years with DB2 and UDB and have migrated a few systems. Involved with migrations from mainframe to Oracle (OLTP), to SQL server and to Cloud databases.
