The Associate Technical Service Engineer handles installations, upgrades, testing, configuration and/or maintenance for assigned systems and equipment. Provide guidance to customers on function, usage, and operation of IT products and services. Troubleshoots and resolves issues and participates on special projects as assigned.

• Expected to work hand in hand with Technicians executing technology Refresh of Desktop equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair hardware and software issues according to documented procedures
• Assist other IT areas supporting issues on infrastructure devices
• Update systems with user data
• Perform equipment removal and inventory
• Provide installation, troubleshooting and provisioning support for desktop hardware
• May provide backup helpdesk support as needed
• May support and participate in Disaster Recovery initiatives
• Provide project support to facilities and IT partners as assigned

Requirements:

Required:

• At least 1 year of professional experience in a related information technology field
• Associates degree in an IT related field or equivalent work experience
• Must have some exposure to basic computer operations,
• Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities
• Ability to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve performance
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly and articulately
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
• Ability to travel as needed
