This position is for a senior front-end developer to work as part of the User Interface Development Team to create and implement cutting edge designs. This team member needs expert knowledge of an array of web technologies as well as experience in agile environments. Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements gathering, definition, and design of new or changing applications
• Design, develop, and maintain dynamic user interfaces for multiple web applications
• Produce front-end code (responsive UI and JavaScript) for React/Redux environments
• Troubleshoot and debug code for JavaScript and visual issues, performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility
• Design and establish front-end development standards and coding patterns for reuse
• Stay current with web standards and application architectures
• Mentor and assist junior developers
• Work with User Interface and User Experience team to collaborate on the best user experience, look and feel

Requirements:

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of work experience in user interface development
• 1 to 2 years in an Agile environment
• Proficient in turning product requirements into detailed clickable prototypes as well as production code
• Solid knowledge of React and Redux principals and build out
• Client side templating (mustache.js, handlebars.js, panni.js, dust.js )
• Solid knowledge of DOM manipulation and client-side validationSolid knowledge with jQuery and other JavaScript libraries
• Experience with modern web/UI development tools and techniques (Node, Webpack, Grunt/Gulp, GIT, Axios, Jest)
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript/jQuery, local storage, and cross-browser compatibility are required
• Experience with responsive grid systems
• You will be working in a rapid and iterative environment.
• You must be able to manage a dynamic workload to balance priorities with deadlines to effectively meet project needs
• Must be able to communicate effectively with other members of the UI team, technical teams, and business partners
• Must have strong initiative and be able to take a high-level requirement, ask questions/seek clarifications to get the job done right.
• Must have a strong attention to detail
• Experience with mobile design (native and mobile web) a plus
• Experience with Foundation a plus
• Experience with web accessibility guidelines and requirements a plus
