The resources will be building reusable UI components to support efforts to create a consistent look and feel for applications used by internal customers. They want the look and feel to be consistent so that users can navigate easily through different applications. They are using ReactJS and NodeJS so that is what the technical expertise they need in these resources.

This position is for a senior front-end developer to work as part of the User Interface Development Team to create and implement cutting edge designs. This team member needs expert knowledge of an array of web technologies as well as experience in agile environments. Responsibilities:

• Participate in requirements gathering, definition, and design of new or changing applications
• Design, develop, and maintain dynamic reusable UI kit components based on design standards to be used for multiple web applications
• Design and establish front-end development standards and coding patterns for reuse
• Front end table-less layout development, performance optimization, debugging, troubleshooting code and implementing cross-browser compatibility
• Stay current with web standards and application architectures
• Mentor and assist junior developers
• Browser compatibility and testing

Requirements:

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of work experience in user interface development
• 1 to 2 years in an Agile environment
• Proficient in turning product requirements into detailed clickable prototypes as well as production code
• Solid knowledge of React and Redux principals and build out
• Client side templating ( mustache.js, handlebars.js, panni.js, LinkedIn, dust.js)
• Solid knowledge of DOM manipulation and client-side validation
• Solid knowledge with jQuery and other JavaScript libraries
• Experience with modern web/UI development tools and techniques (NodeJS, ReactJS, Webpack, Gulp, GIT, Axios, Tape)
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript/jQuery, local storage, and cross-browser compatibility are required
• You will be working in a rapid and iterative environment. You must be able to manage a dynamic workload to balance priorities with deadlines to effectively meet project needs
• Must be able to communicate effectively with other members of the UI team, technical teams, and business partners
• Must have strong initiative and be able to take a high-level requirement, ask questions/seek clarifications to get the job done right.
• Experience with responsive grid systems and Foundation

Preferred:

• Experience with mobile design (native and mobile web)
• Experience with web accessibility guidelines and requirements
