Responsibilities:
- Skilled in building relationships and navigating through organizations
- Servant Leader for high performing Agile team(s)
- Ensure teams actions are aligned with the project goals / vision
- Ensure Scrum practices are used and improved within and across teams
- Process owner – SM is responsible for making sure a Scrum team lives by the values and practices of Scrum
- Protector of the team – SM protects the team from outside distractions as well as an overly aggressive Product Owner
- Servant-Leader - does anything possible to help the team perform at their highest level which includes
- Removes impediments to progress
- Facilitating meetings and ceremonies
- Works with the product owner to make sure the product backlog is in good shape and ready for the next sprint
- Coach or Motivator – SM help the team become self-organized, teaching them to inspect and adapt their processes as they mature so they can do the best work they possibly can
- This includes providing data/information to the team so they can make the right decisions
- Identify trade-offs between short and long term benefits to drive shared vision between the team and product owner
- Lead by example: Do not shy away of any tasks that could help the team. Lead and demonstrate value-add principles to a team
- Foster a continuous learning environment helping teams to inspect & adapt
- Strong communication skills – Able to propagate information promptly, clearly, and unambiguously
- Team Leadership – Experienced in assessing how the team is doing and drive necessary actions to improve
- Team Leadership – Able to develop and foster teamwork and facilitate team dynamics
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to coach and mentor team all roles on a Scrum team
- Ability to deal with complexity and change
Requirements:
- Knowledgeable about various Agile methodologies and experienced in leading Scrum teams
- Hands on experience working in Agile software development settings and teams
- 3+ years of relevant work experience with Agile and Scrum
Preferred:
- Certified Scrum Practioner (CSP) or Certified Scrum Coach (CSC) (not required)
- Technical experience working with various technology stacks
- Knowledge of Health Insurance
- Knowledge of Customer Call Centers
- Knowledge of Customer Experience Management
