Cloudteam now has a contract to permanent placement opportunity for you to join a leader in the the healthcare insurance industry as a Certified Coder working as a Healthcare Appeals Analyst in Jacksonville, FL.

This is a contract position that will last 6 months with possibility of a permanent position after that.

Responsibilities

• Apply medical knowledge and expertise in reviewing claims and provider inquiries, more focused on Coding inquiries than Claims and ICD 9/10 issues.
• Render medical decisions on, claims and proper coding and billing, identifying questionable medical practices.
• Document findings and render medical decision in various internal systems.
• Manage medical review inventory including resolving workflow problems and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
• Identify formal education opportunities and needs for providers and their staff and communicate these needs to appropriate departments.
• Follow regulatory requirements.
• Do project work as needed.
