Job Summary
The Business Project Manager will be responsible for leading projects on behalf of the Care organization. The individual will work closely with the team and internal stakeholders to communicate critical path items and work toward resolving challenges early to keep programs on schedule and team members accountable.
The ideal candidate will join the Care Innovation & Care Partner Integration team to coordinate and assure completion of projects on time and within scope. The individual will oversee all aspects of the team's projects from concept through incubation. He/she will set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor and report the progress of the portfolio of projects. The right candidate will have a passion for discovering solutions - and the ability to effectively influence and work with cross-functional stakeholders to launch new opportunities and improve business outcomes. The individual will coordinate between business stakeholders, IT, and Care Partners to ensure the right solution is delivered to enable the Care organization.

Essential Functions:
The essential functions listed represent the major duties of the role; however, additional duties may be assigned.
• Manage projects that have a limited timeframe and are typically confined to the Care organization. Some projects may have external integration requirements.
• Plan project timelines and milestones, track progress, monitor and communicate project status and identify and resolve project-related issues and / or risks.
• Manage project issues, risks, changes, and dependencies.
• May integrate and manage significant components of major projects.
• Recommend improvements to achieve and deliver high quality, value-added capabilities and processes.
• Research, analyze, maintain, modify, validate and prepare data, information and content used in making business decisions. Present findings and articulate results.
• Produce, edit and distribute a variety of business documents such as scopes, status reports, presentations, program design plans, etc.
• May participate on Company workgroups and initiatives.
• Develop and build internal partnerships to improve communication, coordination, collaboration and effective working relationships within own department and across the Company.
• Coordinate across business stakeholders to develop and execute operational readiness plans and adoption strategies.
• May mentor and coach less experienced coworkers on the technical and interpersonal skills needed for effective job performance.

Required Qualifications:
• 4+ years related work experience or equivalent combination of transferable experience and education
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Ability to work with and across various groups and levels of management within the organization
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Conflict resolution experience
• Ability to influence without authority

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in health insurance, healthcare, or related field
