The Sales Channel Management area drives the development of Sales Performance Management tools and output which requires a product owner. Product owners are responsible for gathering the voice of their customers, providing business requirements, giving input on system specifications, participation in testing, evaluation of expected experience and outcomes, and performance testing of the SPM tools and output.

This role will specifically support the build out of Sales & Sales Comp Analytics with executive dashboards.

Essential Functions:

  • The essential functions listed represent the major duties of this role, additional duties may be assigned.
  • Define and manage the build of reports and dashboards for product capabilities
  • Provide key executive stakeholders visibility into product performance and recommended improvements
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze usability, product performance and acquisitions - effectiveness based on business objectives
  • Train applicable stakeholders in reporting and analysis for respective business areas
  • Assist  with special projects as needed
  • Coordinate and manage business requests from conceptual ideas to formulated business statements of work, integrating with the UX team on usability and consumer testing and design.
  • Develop data-driven strategies that improve the customer experience, create insights and streamline operations.
  • Ensure development of comprehensive, efficient, and effective plans leveraging most effective touchpoints, to achieve business objectives.
  • Use design thinking principles to develop customer journey maps and customer engagement strategies.
  • Manage the business testing strategy and approach
  • Manage deployment strategy and approach for assigned product
  • Manage creation and distribution of communications, training and SOPs for impacted customers and stakeholders
  • Collaborates with IT and all analytics teams to understand proprietary tools, vendors and/or third party technologies used to report and analyze data
  • Understand core analytics tools and data visualization tools including, but not limited to SQL, SAS, Tableau, SPM tools, Access, Excel, etc.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Required Work Experience

  • 4+ years related work experience or equivalent combination of transferable experience and education
  • Product owner and/or strategy experience

Additional Required Qualifications:

  • The ability to translate clients' goals and objectives into actionable and measurable product enhancements
  • Ability to apply conceptual strategy, brainstorm facilitation, and day-to-day directing of projects through completion
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to create interesting, logical and well-edited presentations and has experience delivering communications to internal and external stakeholders
  • A self-starter who is accountable, dependable and mature
  • Client-focused, team player, good teacher
  • Good interpersonal and team management skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of project experience
  • 2+ years Leading Customer Focused Solution Design
  • Experience interfacing with an IT organization
  • Experience working with large volumes of data, interpreting data and performing in depth analysis
  • Understand or have experience in the Health Insurance industry, specifically knowledge of Sales Analytics and dashboard development.
  • Strong abilities in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and web based tools
  • Leadership presentation experience
