Minimum CCNP certification or equivalent experiences required
Looking for a Network Engineer who has proven experience supporting existing network environments as well as designing and building enterprise level network architecture solutions. The candidate will work to develop and apply network design principles and protocols, remote access technology, configure and maintain operating systems, software releases and perform system upgrades and support patch management, system backup and recovery and maintain network security and ensure communications across the network in a multi-site environment. Additionally, the candidate will provide technical support to other internal IT professionals with advice and assistance in troubleshooting and will work on Information Technology network development projects as a project team member.
Solid understanding and demonstrated operational experiences in the following:
- Spanning Tree Protocol
- VLan Trunking Protocol
- SNMP
- Catalyst/Nexus switches (4K, 7K and/or 9K series)
- Upgrading
- 802.1X
- EtherChannel
- SPAN/RSPAN
- IPSEC and SSL tunneling
- OSPF
- EIGRP
- BGP
- Route filtering and redistribution
- First hop redundancy (HSRP, VRRP)
- NAT
- ASA
- PIX and/or FWSM firewalls
Would look at either Stealthwatch, or Cisco Tetration, but it will need to be more than working experience: it would need to be implementation experiences.
Previous working experiences in the implementation of CISCO Tetration, Stealthwatch, ISE and other security access products a plus.
