This position is open ONLY applicants residing in Polk, Orange or Osceola counties.

Expectations:

• Nurse will be traveling between provider offices- travel locally 4 days a week with 1 admin day.
• This position is accountable for supporting Primary Care Practices to improve patient health outcomes for their Florida Blue Medicare population.
• Applicant MUST be an RN with working knowledge of Clinical Quality HEDIS measures.
• Healthcare insurance or Primary Care experience highly recommended with emphasis on the Medicare population.
• Case management experience in the outpatient setting will also be considered.
• This clinical RN position will support Primary Care Practices to improve patient health outcomes for the Florida Blue Medicare population.

The requirements for this position include:

1) Ability to manage and improve the Medicare HEDIS quality performance of an assigned region with large Primary Care practices.

2) In-depth understanding of Medicare HEDIS quality measures to be able to communicate workflows needed to close quality gaps.

3) MUST have excellent communication skills essential to building practice relationships.

4) Proficiency with Microsoft tools Excel/ Project Lynx highly desirable.

5) Good organizational and time-management skills: ability to prepare agendas/minutes and track issues through to resolution.

6) Proficiency in healthcare databases- ability to analyze large volumes of healthcare data and identify root causes and outliers to quality compliance.

7) Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a highly matrix environment.

8) Ability to work independently.
