Sr. Azure Data Platform Developer

Software Engineers perform requirements analysis. They then design, develop or maintain the physical application (components) or the application environment, based on the Software Architecture (models and principles). Activities include coding, integrating, implementing, installing or changing frameworks and standard components, or technical and functional application management. A Software Engineer also develops languages, methods, frameworks and tools, and/or undertakes activities in support of server-based databases in development, test and production environments.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Qualification: 3-7 years of experience (2 years min relevant experience in the role), Bachelor’s Degree.
• Certification: Should have or seeking SE Level 1.
• Should have progressing knowledge in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Software Engineering, Testing, Data Management, Architecture Knowledge and Technical Solution Design.


Experience in:
• Total about 4-6 years experience
• Hands on experience in working with Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake Analytics
• Exposure Azure Data Bricks, USQL, ADLS (Azure Data Lake Service), Blob Storage, SQL DW, Log Analytics, ADF, and Azure Data Catalog
• Experience in delivering Data models to support sprints
• Develop design patterns for our delivery teams across the Azure stack to help us deliver in a faster manner
• Experience in configuring linked services, Dataset and integrating Pipelines (end to end) in Azure Data Factory
• Expertise in troubleshooting issues any in working with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Analytics and Azure Data Warehouse
• Experience in working with U-SQL Jobs
• Expertise in Data Warehousing concepts and design
• Strong knowledge of Performance tuning to define Azure code artefacts for optimal performance
