We are looking for a CA Application Performance Analyst. This is a contract position based in Jacksonville, Florida for a top rated company. The position is available for Remote work for highly qualified candidates. This position has the potential to become permanent.
Description of responsibilities:
- Create and maintain application-specific CA APM dashboards
- Create and maintain application-specific CA APM alerts
- Create and maintain application-specific CA APM custom metrics
- Create and maintain application-specific CA APM reports
- Build CA APM agent configuration files
- Tune CA APM agent configuration files for performance and to provide necessary metrics for monitoring
- Document CA APM agent configuration for inclusion in application run books
- Analyze application server performance in Production applications Basic Qualifications: Minimum knowledge, skills, abilities needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years IT work experience OR a Master's degree and 3 years of IT work experience.
- 3 years of experience or more working with CA APM tools
- 2 years of experience or more configuring and optimizing CA APM software
- 2 years of experience or more configuring and tuning CA APM agents on the mainframe, UNIX/Linux, cloud, and Windows platforms
- Certification as a CA Expert/Associate
- Experience with all aspects of using CA APM software
- Experience with development and tuning of application agent profiles
- Experience using mainframe and web-based performance and capacity monitoring tools.
- Experience with creation of alerts, reports, and dashboards
- Ability to perform load testing and analysis
- Experience monitoring and troubleshooting of applications
