Job description: 

1. The position will be responsible for planning, building, and running of the following services and technologies: 
i. VMWARE ESX 5.0/6.0, VMWARE, WINDOWS 2003/2008/2008 R2/2012, O365,OKTA,CITRIX, SCCM, Nagios, SHAREPOINT,AWS 
2. Proficient in medium size VMware vSphere environment comprising of 50+ VMware ESX 4.1/5.0 servers, vCenter Server and 500+ VMs, vCenter 5.0/6.0, setting-up vMotion, svMotion, High Availability (HA), Distributed Resource Scheduling (DRS), P2V, V2V, Snapshots, Cloning, Installation & Configuration of vCenter 5.0/6.0 
3. Well versed in Windows 2003/2008 Server, Active Directory Services, Group Policy & DNS, DHCP, WSUS, WDS, DFS, IIS and Migration of large Active Directory from Windows 2003 domain Windows 2008 domain to Windows 2012 domain 
4. Worked and supported large Active Directory multi-forest environment. Supported VMware infrastructure comprising of VMware vSphere 5.1, 50+ VMs ESX 5.1 server, VMware vCenter server, vMotion, svMotion, High Availability (HA), Distributed Resource Scheduling (DRS), P2V, and V2V. 
5. Managing Active Directory, Windows 2003/2008/2008 R2 /2012 Servers, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, WDS, MOM 2005, SCOM 2007, SCVMM 2007 and Windows Cluster. 
6. Design and create reports within Management systems (SCCM 2012 & 2016) for strategic decision making (Licensing, Patch/Vulnerability, Asset Intelligence etc) 
7. Responsible for collaborating on and setting cloud vision; providing thought leadership in cloud architecture and cloud services to meet business objectives for cloud solutions 
8. Consulting with internal IT and business segment leaders as a cloud technology evangelist around Microsoft Azure / AWS 
9. Designing technical architecture for cloud solutions that meet the needs for scalability, reliability, and performance 
10. Deploying cloud solutions and technologies across a range of functional solutions 
11. Identifying new cloud technologies and platforms to help solve technical challenges or limitations in the existing cloud technology platforms. 
12. Working Knowledge on Performance tuning and troubleshooting with SysInternal suit
13. Knowledge and proficiency in the following Microsoft server technologies: 
ii. Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) 
iii. Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) 2.0 
iv. Azure Active Directory Sync (AAD Sync) 
v. Exchange Server 2013/2010 
vi. DNS and related technologies 
vii. Windows PowerShell 
viii. Automation on Chef / puppet / ansible 
14. Knowledge and proficiency in the following Microsoft client technologies: 
ix. Microsoft Office 2010 and Microsoft Office 2007 
x. Windows Internet Explorer and other browser technologies 
xi. Windows 2008 / 2012 Operating Systems 
xii. ActiveSync/Mobile Devices and mobility 
15. Knowledge of legacy messaging systems is desired, including the following and others: 
xiii. POP3/IMAP4/SMTP-based mail systems 
xiv. Microsoft Lync / Skype for Business server experience is a plus 
xv. EMS (Enterprise Mobility Suite) knowledge is a plus 
xvi. System Center (SCCM) knowledge is a plus 
16. The candidate must possess excellent technical knowledge, leadership skill, project management, operational focus, and communication skills. 
17. Interact with the client and build a positive rapport to ensure coordination and communication between client and contract staff is seamless 
18. To develop methods and procedures for day to day tasks 
19. To undertake complex problem solving and to provide assistance to colleagues and internal customers ensuring that they are dealt with in a pleasant, professional and timely manner. 
20. A successful candidate will have proven experience in working in a highly complex, global environment with coordination across teams and regions to build activities such as pilots and production deployments, and run activities (day to day operations) adhering to ITIL principals. 
21. The candidate must be able to work with IT and business staff, Executive level personnel, able to solve their technical issues in a very efficient way. 

Technical & Behavioral Requirements 
1. 8+ years’ experience in managing Server OS operations function 
2. 2+ years’ experience in Office 365 technologies 
3. 2+ years’ experience in Microsoft Azure / AWS cloud IAAS 
4. Management and experience administering Microsoft Windows environment including Group Policies, advanced configuration, email gateways, and PowerShell scripting 
5. Knowledge and experience of Windows server monitoring tools 
6. Hands-on experience with EC2, ECS, ELB, EBS, S3, VPC, SQS, RDS and AWS security like IAM Users , Group , Roles and Policies. 
7. Working Experience with Security Groups and NACLs. 
8. AWS security experts on achieving provable security, the highest level of security assurance, in the cloud. 
9. Hands-on experience on AWS Security Credentials , Configuring EC2 Security Groups, EC2 Security and Networking , MFA , Security in Your Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), CloudTrail Logging, S3 Encryption & Security Features 
10. Ability to provide expert technical advice, guidance and recommendations to management and technical specialists on critical Windows software updates and vulnerability issues; recommend mitigation strategies; ensure coordination and collaboration on upgrade activities; successfully implement hardening on the server infrastructure in appropriate server roles 
11. Knowledge of Active Directory design, AD replication, DNS, and DHCP 
12. Expert working knowledge of implementation, configuration, and administration of Azure 
13. Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with management and technical specialist; to plan, organize and manage tasks on time with minimal supervision; must have ability to communicate fluently in the English Language, in both written and verbal communication 
14. The ability to work nights and/or weekends if conditions warrant 
15. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to effectively interact and communicate with end users 
16. Maintain knowledge of current industry best practices and implement proper solutions were practical. 
17. Contribute to the development of standards, policies and procedures and adhere to IT standards, policies and procedures. 
18. Bachelor degree in computer related field 
19. Certification – 
a. VMware Certified Solutions Expert 
b. Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions (70-533) / AWS solution Architect 
c. MCP / MCSA 
d. AWS certification 
e. Certified Windows Security Specialist (CWSS)
