JOB DESCRIPTION:
Qualifications: 3-7 years of experience (2 years min relevant experience in the role); Bachelor’s degree
• Should be proficient in Software Engineering Techniques, Software Engineering Architecture, Software Engineering Lifecycle and Data Management.
• Should have progressing skills on Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Software Engineering Leadership, Architecture Knowledge and Technical Solution Design.
Job description:
• Java/J2EE/Swing developer (5-6 years experience)
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related computer field
• Expertise on core Java (Java UI/Swing knowledge is preferrable)
• Strong understanding of OOPs (Object Oriented Programming) concepts
• Ability to understand complex code quickly and start delivering solutions to meet client expectations
• Experience working on databases like Oracle (SQL queries, procedures etc)
• Ability to operate as a team player
• Good communications skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent problem solving/analytical abilities

• Understand requirements from Product Owner and translate into design and implement Java (core Java, AWT, Swing) coding
• Analyze and obtain understanding of complex code to quickly implement solutions to meet client expectations
• Learn new modules and architecture to obtain overall product knowledge
• Ensure Java code meets coding standards and perform thorough unit testing
• Document design and code review pages and follow up with SME for timely approval on reviews
• Coordinate with tester to ensure observations and defects are addressed on timely manner
