• At least 6+ years of software development experience having a focus on front-end & back-end development.
• 2+ years experience in ReactJS.
• Hands on experience with Redux and Sagas
• 2+ years experience with Nodejs & Express
• Hands on experience with browser developer tools for UI performance debugging
• Good to have: Node package management, source-code management tools (e.g., Git)
• Experience with Scrum or another Agile methodology
• A desire and willingness to be challenged and learn about new technologies
• A passion for building high quality code with efficiency and maintainability in mind
• Experience with test driven development: Jest/any other unit test automation framework (1-2 years)
• Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
• Responsive development
• Nice to have Less and SASS experience
• Experience building cloud native micro-services using Spring Boot or Lagom to run on PaaS technologies like Mesos and containers
• Hystrix is a plus!
• Kafka streaming experience is good to have
• Experience in multithreading and data structures
• Scala experience is a plus!
• Conduct checkpoint review on the overall deliverables
• Guide / Review the preparation of technical design documents in accordance to functional specifications. Ensure that documentation is in place and maintained
