We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for managing the Deploy Automation and infrastructure behind our Patient Engagement Portal Platform. You will lead the DevOps support and collaboration with a small talented Development team to help bridge our network IT support with environment management of our Internal and third party application integrations.

Experience:

We are seeking a candidate with at least 8 years experience working in a professional information technology environment. Candidates should be “self-starters” with a willingness to take on responsibilities in development, system administration and employee support.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Developers and IT to manage updates to our AWS environment.
• Research new technologies and approaches to our platform.
• Own automation of the infrastructure platform.
• Deliver large, complex, highly available software systems.
• Design and implement various environments for those applications, engineer fluid release management procedures and provide production support.
• Bridge the gap between development and network support functions.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Software Engineering/DevOps: 5 years (Required)
• 2 or more years in a DevOps Role
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred
• Familiarity with Agile Methodologies
• Ability to work collaboratively with Software Developers and QA
• Experience with AWS
• Experience with system monitoring tools
• An understanding of system optimization issues
• Experience with web application servers, web development frameworks, proxy servers, and relational databases
