The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of Studio buildouts across all locations globally. This role will cover all technical disciplines to create functional and highly reliable office space including, network, low voltage, phones, AV, security, access control, printing and sensors. Technical Project Manager will work with the Studio Team and Technology vendors in each market and report into our IT team.
General Responsibilities:
- Project management and execution of Technical aspects of Studio buildouts throughout all phases of planning, requirements gathering, analysis and design, execution, and project closure.
- Create effective and optimized project plans to ensure successful project execution with aggressive timelines and conflicting priorities.
- Manage technology budget for each studio location and find cost saving opportunities.
- Provide support, training and handover to Studio personnel for each location.
- Coordinate and monitor objectives and deliverables across various trades over the course of the projects in order to drive project delivery per required deadlines and budget.
- Understand and participate in the architectural and engineering design process as it relates to Technology in Studio.
- Work with various trades such as consultants, integrators, general contractors, and sub-contractors at various technical levels and phases of the project lifecycles.
- Assist with the procurement process including the contracting and management of vendor proposals, bid leveling, and vendor selection.
- Carry out governance and auditing of projects throughout the lifecycle to ensure requirements are met and that the implementations are in line with what was purchased.
- Provide weekly status reports, agendas and minutes to program manager and coordinate the scheduling of key project team meetings.
- Prepare regular communication updates and presentation materials for senior management and staff on all aspects of the project; including dashboards, timelines, accomplishments, key risks, issues and recommend solutions to resolve challenges.
- Develop and document business cases, policies, procedures, and standards around Studio technology in order to assist justification and installation of new technologies.
- Lead detailed and complicated tasks such as system configuration, testing and data migration.
What we look for:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Technology preferred.
- 2+ years of project management experience.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Office technologies included but not limited to networking, architecture, phones, AV, security and printing.
- Ability to manage in complex technology environments.
- Ability to effectively manage consultants both onsite and remotely.
- PMP designation preferred.
- Demonstrable experience of strong communication skills and ability to execute.
