Fantastic opportunity for a Registered Nurse. We have multiple positions in Florence South Carolina: Intensive Care Unit, Cardiac & Pulmonary Med/Surg, General Med/Surg. Will be directed to one of these depending on skillset.

(304028) Cardiac & Pulmonary Med/Surg Position Summary:

The Med/Surg RN collects, reports, analyzes and provides data on an ongoing basis and as required by physician and/or interdisciplinary teams in accordance with organization standards. Revises and evaluates effectiveness of patient care documentation. Uses interviews, surveys, focus groups and questionnaires to identify and resolves areas for improvement.

  • Shift Details: Days/Nights (7a-7p & 7p-7a) W/ Rotating Weekends
  • 35 bed unit
  • Nurse to patient ratio is 6:1
  • Average daily census is 32

Registered nurse who specializes in delivering care to patients in intensive care units of hospitals. Their duties include evaluating the patient's conditions, administering treatment, and providing constant support during recovery.

  • Shift Details: Nights (7p-7a) W/ Rotating Weekends
  • Minimum of 1 year recent ICU experience in acute care hospital setting required.

The Med/Surg RN collects, reports, analyzes and provides data on an ongoing basis and as required by physician and/or interdisciplinary teams in accordance with organization standards. Revises and evaluates effectiveness of patient care documentation. Uses interviews, surveys, focus groups and questionnaires to identify and resolves areas for improvement.

  • Shift Details: Days/Nights (7a-7p & 7p-7a) W/ Rotating Weekends
  • Prefer 1 year of recent acute care hospital setting experience as an RN. However, as long as they have recent RN exp they'll be willing to speak with the candidate.

Community Hospital is a regional acute care facility comprised of 396 beds, more than 1,500 employees and nearly 250 physicians representing all major specialties dedicated to serving the healthcare needs of the citizens of Northeastern South Carolina.

Main Responsibilities:

  • RN collects, reports, analyzes and provides data on an ongoing basis and as required by physician and/or interdisciplinary teams in accordance with organization standards. Revises and evaluates effectiveness of patient care documentation. Uses interviews, surveys, focus groups and questionnaires to identify and resolves areas for improvement.
  • Implement physicians’ orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures and special tests, and document treatment as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' conditions.
  • Assess and evaluate patients' needs for, and responses to, care rendered.
  • Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
  • Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
  • Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
  • Direct and guide ancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing.

Qualifications:

  • Prefer 1 year of recent acute care hospital setting experience as an RN. However, as long as the candidate has recent RN exp we're willing to speak.

  • BLS/ACLS Certified.
  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse.
