Fantastic opportunity for Director of Emergency Services RN at a beautiful facility located near Mullins, SC

Community Hospital - is a 124-bed, acute care facility that provides complete inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic, medical, surgical and emergency care. We are Joint Commission accredited and our facility includes the 92-bed Mullins Nursing Center, with a five-star ranking from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Position Summary:

  • Supports hospital hallmarks in service excellence and quality.
  • Under the general direction of the Chief Nursing Officer. The Director is responsible for the strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations of the Nursing Units.
  • Consistently deliver the best customer service and patient care. As a team member, demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with patients, families, visitors and other employees.
  • Facilitation and oversight of the Nursing Unit and the delivery of safe, timely, effective services to patients, physicians, families and hospital staff.
  • Ensures a safe, clean, sterile environment for patient care.
  • Ensures the effective review, selection and maintenance of Nursing Unit inventory. Ensures financial stewardship of the Nursing Unit budget and expense control. Forecasts fiscal impact of trends and current and future technological changes affecting the preparation and implementation of the facility budget.
  • Provides, and ensures compliance with guidelines for measuring the quality of patient care, based on accepted standards of nursing practice.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of recent leadership acute care hospital exp within specialty. (will interview candidates with ER Management experience)
  • BSN required, prefer MSN or in progress.
  • Current State of SC Registered Nurse Licensure.
  • Current BCLS and ACLS certification.
  • Certified Emergency Nurse Specialization (CEN) exam preferred
