We are seeking to hire a full time experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) and ER Nurse, who will embrace our mission where we are committed to the care an improvement of human life. Qualifications:
- Associate Degree, Diploma in Nursing, or BSN required
- State of Florida RN License
- BLS AHA Healthcare Provider required upon hire
- ACLS and PALS required within 90 days of hire
- CPI required within 90 days of hire
- TNCC preferred but required within six (6) months of hire
- ENPC preferred
- CEN and/or CPEN preferred
- Acute care experience preferred (Med Surg)
- Critical or emergent care experience preferred (ER)
- BLS required, ACLS within 90 days of hire required
- Acute care experience preferred
- Reads and writes Basic English with the basic skills necessary to transcribe physician's orders
- Knowledge of body substance isolation
- Ability to listen, empathize and respond to patient, family, internal and external partners needs
- Basic computer skills
- MUST HAVE 1 year short term/ long term acute care/ rehab/ or skilled nursing
- MUST HAVE 1 year ER exp/willing train strong critical care nurse
- Currently have needs within 4 different Med Surg floors: Post Surgical/ Ortho (30 beds), Oncology (33 beds), General 2 south (10 beds), General 3 south (32 beds)
- 1:5-6 ratio
- Fast pace/ busy environment/ must be good under pressure
- Primary COVID unit: Must be willing to care for COVID patients
