SUMMARY/GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The BDR has demonstrated success in selling technology solutions in the healthcare industry. Our company is solving complex problems daily for very well-known organizations in the Healthcare space, and we take a very consultative approach.
Responsibilities
- Engage new opportunities through contact lists, industry conferences, prospecting activities, existing relationships, professional networking, and partner relationships.
- Manage the sales process from start to finish including initial contact, value repositioning, internal and external resource engagement, online demonstrations, proposal presentations, and closure of net new business.
- Meet or exceed assigned quarterly and annual performance goals
- Participates in the development of the sales content materials and go-to-market strategies.
- Schedule ongoing face-to-face meetings with prospects, current customers, and business partners to build a productive weekly pipeline.
- Maintain all sales activity within our customer relationship management tool for all accounts and business opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Communications or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years sales experience, preferably in Healthcare Software, Technology Solutions or SaaS
- Demonstrated history in exceeding performance goals and quotas
- Strong communications and understanding of how to identify customer needs and map business value
- Proficient in managing multiple simultaneous qualifications and sales processes
- Advanced level prospecting and qualification experience
- Consultative approach with proven relationship building experience
- Energetic, upbeat, tenacious team player with excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to work in a time-sensitive, sales environment
- Must be organized, detail and process-oriented
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms preferred
- Proficiency with standard corporate productivity tools (Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, email, phone skills)
