The Software Test Engineer is responsible for the quality of one or more assigned SNC software products. This includes, among others, the conformance to functional and non-functional requirements, as well as conformance to software reliability, efficiency, and maintainability standards. Key Responsibilities Test Planning, Tracking, and Reporting: Gather test requirements based on product requirements as well as best practices and guidelines. Define test deliverables, test plans, and test activities· Track and communicate test status including test completions, defect tracking, and defect corrections Create and maintain test traceability matrices and final test and exception reports Test Execution: Author and execute test cases for testing. Perform requirements based testing as well as exploratory testing Execute automated regression test suite· Enter and retest Defect during development life cycle Cross-functional Team Support: Act as subject matter expert as far as testing efforts· Establish effective collaboration between SW Test, SW Development, and Product Management Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:: BS in Computer Science or related field of study 2-5 yrs. in Software Quality Assurance and/or Software Test Experience with a wide variety of test methods and concepts such as requirements based testing exploratory testing, regression-, stress-, and load testing, and black
