Project Managers (PM's) are responsible for the overall direction, management, communication, coordination of status reports, and accountability of project oriented work efforts and success of their projects across the IT organization. PM's create scope documents based on approved charters and project plans (work breakdown structures); track key milestones and adjust project plans, budget requests and/or resources to meet the needs of customers.
Scrum Masters are accountable for facilitating the Agile process including all Agile ceremonies.

Job duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Partner with IT technical staff and Business Sponsor to ensure the design accomplishes both business and technical requirements
• Accountable for managing and monitoring project performance of multiple projects with multiple internal and external dependencies, complex or multiple scopes, including: providing guidance to the management and core team Identifies items / issues that jeopardize the cost, quality or timeliness of project deliverables.
• Identifies, negotiates, communicates and manages project changes. Reports status of project, including project risks, to customers, project team, supervisor, Project Offices, governance and other key staff
• Oversee product documentation and archiving. Adheres to the Project Management standards for project closure.
• Responsible for creating and managing external and vendor relationships (including the SOW and managing to implementation (deliverables and schedules)

Requirements:

• Will be supporting web and mobile teams. Digital experience is nice, but not required.
• Experience as a SCRUM Master for AGILE Projects IS required.
• Manager does not require healthcare experience.
• Has opportunity to go perm, for the right resource, but not right away.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / Project Management or equivalent work experience
• 5 years of broad applied project management experience in managing technology projects and leading technical staff.
• PMI certification is preferred
• Scrum Master Certification is preferred
• Solid understanding and experience in various Project Management and Product Development concepts, methodologies and processes including AGILE
• Solid Understanding and experience with Infrastructure related projects
• Must have a solid demonstrated proficiency in the use and/or understanding of project tracking and management tools such as MS Project (including project tracking, reports and outputs and SharePoint).
• Strong PC skills specifically utilizing the MS Office Suite products (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, etc.).
• Have a solid understanding of industry and/or business-related processes, functions and architecture.
• Experience managing multiple projects with a combined multi-million dollar budget and supporting complex vendor arrangements.
• Experience as a Scrum Master for Agile Projects
