The Manager RN provides leadership and directs functions of assigned patient care area on a 24 hour basis; ensure effective delivery of clinical patient care and compliance with administrative and clinical policies and procedures. You are expected to smile!
*This is a 13 Bed Unit
Skills:
- Critical thinking
- Service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- PC skills
Experience:
- Minimum 3 year RN experience in acute care hospital setting
- Minimum 1 year supervisory experience.
Education:
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
- Current Florida State Registered Nurse license; or ARNP
Additional Information:
- Beds: 13-bed unit
- expanding in less than a year to 22 beds
- FTEs: Approx 20 FTE nurses & PCT
- Must be RN who has worked in an inpatient rehab setting recently (Select Specialty/ Health South facilities are ok
- M-F ( 2 shifts per month will be off shifts)
- 1-year management experience AT LEAST
- Positive unit/ low turn over
- CCRN cert preferred
