Looking for a Data Engineer (8+ years of experience)

• AWS
• Tableau or any other reporting tool.
• Some Data Analysis experience

Responsibilities:

• Primary focus is compliance for high priority enterprise data management, make sure data conforms to requirements.
• Horizontal team function supporting various LOB’s
• Embrace new technology and re-imagine the way the work, use technology and report the data
• Moving away from legacy
• Using more python
• Provide strategic solutions / creating solutions (desire for Sr-level person who can help with this function)

How about Qualifications?

• Bachelors Degree At least 5 years of Technology experience Experience with exposure to data governance and management
• Expertise in writing SQL queries Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure or another public cloud service
• Experience in at least one scripting language (Python,JavaScript, Shell)
• Experience in at least one reporting tool (Tableau, Spotfire,R) Experience with UNIX/Linux including basic commands and shell scripting
• Strong communication (written and verbal), and ability to execute autonomously and balance work priorities
• Other tools: Google office suite, JIRA/Confluence, Visio
• Previous experience in data analysis job function with experience in performing deep root cause analysis and providing recommendations
• Has extensive knowledge and experience in working with complex SQL Foundational understanding of Cloud infrastructure concepts and execution
• Has experience in cloud computing technologies such as AWS and coding languages such as Python Operational data management and governance
• Experience in reporting tools such as Tableau Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Clear technical, organizational and communication skills to work with diverse business and technical areas
• Exposure to Agile methodologies
