Job Description
- Agency Portal Senior Developer
- Connect5 experience
- Sr. Developer will shoulder responsibility of configuration and customization for any Duck Creek AP Implementation.
- This person will be responsible to extend technical expertise and support to developers of the team.
- This role requires in depth understanding of Duck Creek platform and core modules in order to support core business solution.
- Experience: 5 Years of experience on Insurance Domain, 3/4 years of experience in Agency Portal 5.x
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for both coding and Requirement analysis.
- Strong communication skills and ability to understand and document customer needs from a business solutions perspective.
- Understand and implement procedures of Code review, Estimating, Peer review, Impact Analysis, Root cause analysis, etc.
- Ability to address issues in performance, scalability and manageability of solution
- Provide technical and project guidance to development team members.
- Communicate and enforce best practice and coding standards.
- Communicate effectively to identify the needs and evaluate optimal business solutions
- Work estimation, work allocation within team.
- Experience: 5 Years of experience on Insurance Domain, 3/4 years of experience in Agency Portal 5.x
- Provide application specific expertise. Act as an escalation point/SME for applications.
- Experience in Web Services would be helpful.
- Familiarity with J2EE, XML, Java, JSP, and EJB.
- Knowledge of coding languages including Angular JS, Java, and JQuery.
- Knowledge of web technologies including JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, and XML.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
- Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodology.
- Prior experience in Architecting Web services, B2B applications.
- Experience in SQL Server Database, stored procedures and database security.
- Experience working directly with technology, business stakeholders/leadership in formulating technical requirements to solve business problems
- Multi-tiered development experience
