Seeking a Senior IT Director for the Cyber And Intelligence Business Unit. TS/SCI and security certifications (CISA, CISSP, CISM, etc) required.

  • Responsible for overall organizational network and infrastructure strategy, monitoring performance of information technology systems, and maintaining compliance with all customer security requirements, industry security standards, and applicable laws. Reports to the Risk Management Group
  • The IT Director will serve as a critical participant/advisor regarding all aspects of the Cyber & Intelligence Business Unit computer infrastructure.
  • This includes interfacing with the company's IT organization to maintain networks, servers, security programs and systems.
  • Assist resource owners and IT staff in understanding, preventing, mitigating and responding to security issues, as well as oversee the upgrade and installation of new hardware and software, performance of troubleshooting to address any problems with computer systems and assess viruses and potential threats to a company’s infrastructure.
  • IT Director maintains up-to-date expertise in the operation and application of software and a working knowledge of a wide variety of commonly used hardware and software.
  • IT Director maintains a current understanding of customer requirements and updates with customer updates immediately and efficiently.
  • IT Director ensures that procurement staff understands the requirements of the various networks in place and that all equipment is compliant with customer requirements and applicable regulations.
  • Meets with and advises management, legal, and other staff in the design, implementation, and configuration of networked software.
  • Serves as a lead participant in the information security and data privacy governance process.
  • Reads, understands, and adheres to appropriate company and department policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance, security compliance, and a safe and productive workplace.
  • Leads and motivates the information security team to achieve tactical and strategic goals in direct support of the national security mission.
  • Maintains accountability among staff and oversee the development and implementation of training programs and communications to make systems, network, and data users aware of and understand security policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Must have the ability to work effectively with business managers, IT engineering, and IT operations staff, as well as legal, physical/personnel security, and procurement.
  • Must maintain a strong understanding of the business impact of security tools, technologies, and policies, and have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with the IT organization, project and application development teams, management, and business personnel.
  • Must demonstrate in-depth knowledge and understanding of information risk concepts and principles as a means of relating business needs to security controls in the classified work environment; an excellent knowledge of information security concepts, protocols, industry best practices and strategies.
  • Strong organizational and management skills are a must.
  • Top Secret with SCI access, or eligibility for same within the past two years
