Working in a Global Level 2 Operations Authentication support team based in Jacksonville, you will be closely collaborating with Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) engineering and EMEA Level 2 providing production support. You will be primarily supporting the global Oracle Directory Server Enterprise Edition (ODSEE) production LDAP which supports the Bank’s critical authentication platforms and which provides directory services to a large number of critical banking applications. You will be responsible for the production stability and security of the directory services Oracle Unified Directory (OUD) and ODSEE infrastructure, and you will be supporting the new Google Cloud strategic roadmap. Ideally, you will have expertise in either OUD Server or ODSEE. To support our new cloud strategy, it would be beneficial if you have experience with Google GCP and ForgeRock directory server as you will be involved in building and migrating to this new architecture.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide application support by handling and consulting on business as usual (BAU), incidents/emails/alerts for the directory services (LDAP), and related identity and authentication application
- Act as an escalation point for user issues and requests and from Level 1/Level 2 support and report issues to senior management
- Facilitate coordination across Level 1/Level 2 and Level 3/Engineering teams to investigate and resolve an ongoing infrastructure/platform or application issue impacting multiple business lines
- Assist in the process to approve all new releases and production configuration changes; ensure development includes all necessary documentation for each change, and conduct post-release testing where required
- Perform reviews of all open production items with the development team and push for updates and resolutions to outstanding tasks and reoccurring issues
- Regularly review and analyze service requests and issues raised; seek to improve the process and remove reoccurring tasks where possible
Your Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience providing hands-on support to IT service operations in a large scale enterprise level setup and interacting with multiple business application users/stakeholders and end-users; prior experience working in the identity and authentication (IA) domain is an advantage
- In-depth experience and knowledge of Enterprise Web/J2EE environment, web/application/data layer using WebLogic, Tomcat, JBoss, Apache Server 2.x, IIS
- Familiarity with job scheduling tools (i.e. Cron), monitoring tools (i.e. Geneos), and web services (SOAP-based and RESTful Web Services)
- Experience with operating and command line knowledge of Linux RedHat 7.8+ operating system and single sign-on (SSO) technologies
- Strong network expertise to troubleshoot network latency, performance, and network layer issues affecting directory services with an understanding and knowledge of information security and disaster recovery planning
