Seeking a Senior Lead Security Engineer with experience delivery Infrastructure services to DoD organizations.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience
  • 15 years of professional experience or 13 years with an advanced degree
  • 10 years of work experience in building information systems, including process engineering and IT infrastructure or datacenter operations.
  • Task/Workstream Lead experience, team leadership experience, including managing remote work environment team members.
  • Experience providing IT infrastructure services to DoD organizations, with experience providing IT support to NIPRNET and SIPRNET environments.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance or equivalent US Government clearance
  • One Cybersecurity Level III certification:
  • IAT Level III - CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, CCSP IAM Level III – CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, CCISO CSSP Incident Responder – CEH, CFR, CCNA Cyber Ops, CCNA-Security, CHFI, CySA+ **, GCFA, GCIH, SCYBER, PenTest+

Preferred qualifications

  • Technical depth to uncover root causes of complex technical problems and expertise in providing guidance on solving them, with a passion for technology.
  • Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management using exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience implementing IT infrastructure solutions to resolve technical debt challenges, add new capabilities.
  • Project Management Certification (e.g. PMP)

Lead Engineer Responsibilities

  • Work with Lead System Engineer/Architect to develop and maintain plans in a Multi-Cloud Hybrid infrastructure for a DoD Client, partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders to design, build, and deploy infrastructure projects (IaaS, PaaS, etc.) between Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Amazon Web Services, on-premise data centers to support internal and/or third-party applications and internal capabilities (e.g. Cyber, Automation, etc.)
  • Lead and enable delivery of strategic objectives through the project management discipline (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Waterfall etc.).
  • Lead a team of technical solution architects and project managers while operating as an inspiring, effective people leader integrating resources and teams across tasks and functions.
  • Provide thought leadership, develop and execute risk assessments; design and enable implementation of mitigation strategies to address key risks to the business.
  • Influence and assist ITIL Service Management process owners (e.g. Problem Management) to develop effective processes, policies, and automation to enable scale.
