Seeking a CMDB Discovery Business Analyst for a 100% Remote opportunity.

The CMDB Discovery Business Analyst is responsible for administering and executing the configuration management process and ensuring CMDB data. Solid understanding of CMDB & CSDM principles and tools such as ServiceNow. Work closely with the CMDB/Discovery Lead to ensure data yielded from this process will be of high quality and provide management with the right level of business intelligence and reporting.

• Work with CMDB/Discovery Lead on strategy and development
• Play a key role during the planning stage of enhancing the automated collection of configuration data that makes up a Service.
• Identify and document business requirements, current and future states, and provide constructive feedback for future process improvements.
• Proficient in data model design for CSDM & CMDB, including the creation of relationships, data flows and conceptual and logical data models and data dictionaries.
• Instrumental in developing service strategy and responsible for the design, communication, and enforcement of CMDB processes and integrations to support cybersecurity resilience.
• Identify, recognize and analyze potential CMDB/Asset management process issues from current and historical data.
• Assist or lead test plan development and execution including conducting user acceptance testing ensuring implementation meets client’s requirements.
