Seeking a Subcontracts Manager for an full-time permanent position in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

In this role you will be responsible for the overall life-cycle of a subcontract, from the initial sourcing and acquisition strategy development, through the solicitation, negotiation, award, cost and schedule management, subcontractor execution and closeout steps.

Responsibilities

• Drive all aspects of major subcontract execution (cost, schedule, technical, quality) and full integration of the subcontract work scope within the program, e.g. proposals, negotiations, contract execution, etc.
• Subject Matter Expert with advanced knowledge of contract types (i.e., FFP, Cost Reimbursement, T&M, CPFF, CPIF, etc.), government proposals and Basis of Estimate (BOE).
• Subject Matter Expert with advanced negotiation skills, subcontractor management and program risk management experience.
• Subject Matter Expert with advanced ability to review technical SOWs, understand work scope, and hold other functions accountable to provide clarity and eliminate ambiguity in SOW language and technical requirements.
• Subject Matter Expert with advanced knowledge of FAR/DFAR requirements, Prime Contract flow downs, International Trade Compliance, ITAR, EAR, Import/Export,

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
• Requires comprehensive level knowledge of job area. May have in-depth knowledge of project management.
  
• Experience to be one or a combination of the following: Supply Chain, Subcontracts, Contracts, Procurement, Program Management, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory Compliance, Legal and Government compliance, and/or Finance. Coursework, or practical experience that demonstrates business acumen, compliance, legal, negotiations skills, analytical mindset, strategy development and execution.
• 7 years of experience using MRP systems software.
• Minimum 5 years experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, WORD, Excel (including pivot tables, V-lookup, etc.), PowerPoint, etc.
