Seeking an Athletic Fields Coordinate for an evening part-time position in Jacksonville, Florida.

This position is for a part-time role with 20-25 hours per week. Afternoons Monday-Thursday starting at 5pm.

We are looking for someone to manage the use of athletic fields, organize company leagues, tournaments, officiate games, etc.

In this role you will be responsible for managing all activities held at the company athletic fields.


Responsibilities

  • Greet members and guests as they enter the Facility using a personalized approach, and direct or escort them to specific destinations.
  • Respond to member/guest suggestions, concerns, and complaints in a timely, professional, and consistent manner while providing the gold standard in customer service. Take ownership of challenges by finding the appropriate team member who can directly assist, if unable to provide efficient support to member/guest.
  • Activate emergency action plans and administer first aid, as necessary.
  • Hear out guest and/or membership feedback and communicate with the Athletic Fields Manager to respond to all comments within 24 hours via phone, email, fax or personal meeting
  • Provide leadership to set the tone and personality of the site.
  • Responsible for overseeing all activities held at the Athletic Fields.
  • Coordinate and promote on-campus programming.
  • Officiate matches for the on-campus leagues.
  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of health promotional activities when additional assistance is needed.
  • Engage members by proactively welcoming members by name, being enthusiastic, and knowledgeable about program offerings, procedures, equipment, etc.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge in all site offerings such as Personal Training, Spa, Wellness, Nutrition, Group Fitness, etc.
  • Operate a clean, functional and safe site; conduct regular walk-through and inspect equipment.
  • Perform all other projects and responsibilities as required.

Requirements

  • A high-school diploma is required.
  • Experience administering or officiating recreation programs is recommended. Must be knowledgeable about the industry with the customer skills to network, engage, and interact with all clients, guests, and participants.
  • Must communicate professionally using appropriate vocabulary and grammar to obtain and relay information to and from staff/clients/guests.
  • CPR and AED certifications (preferred).
