The QA Automation Manager oversees the quality assurance aspect of software development and deployment. This role involves managing a team of QA engineers, developing automated test strategies, and ensuring that all software releases meet the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Hire, lead, and mentor a team of QA automation engineers.
• Design, develop, and implement automated testing frameworks and strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and develop effective test plans.
• Manage the continuous integration and delivery pipeline to ensure timely and efficient release cycles.
• Oversee the creation, maintenance, and execution of automated test scripts.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure adherence to industry quality standards and best practices.
• Stay current with new testing tools and test strategies.
• Ensure the automation test portion of the regression is on time.
• Track automation test coverage and ensure healthy growth.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a QA automation manager or similar role.
• Experience in the Medical Device or Healthcare industry
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
• Familiarity with SQL and scripting.
• Experience with performance and security testing is a plus.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in HTML, SQL, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Well-versed in QA automation framework and industry trend
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development life cycle.
