  • Anthem HITRUST Certification: Won senior management support and launched 10-month project with 100 FTEs and consultants from across the company. Gained buy-in of matrix technical teams, co-defined timelines, and led technical efforts using OPTUM and SAS to automate process masking real-world member data achieving SOX and HIPAA compliance and earning HITRUST certification.
  • Complete Online Programming Environment (COPE) Overcame internal resistance from California claims processing system senior management with failed past implementation and deployed COPE solution allowing one environment to be partitioned into 30 logical systems. Decreased LPAR overhead and reduced time to set up new 'virtual' IMS regions from 3 ? months to 3 weeks.
  • Vendor Management & Savings: Took charge to locate/negotiate with new vendor to support test environment. Led transition to new vendor, oversaw training, and notified customers of change. With little disruption, set up new vendor saving $500K annually.
  • Finance Team Negotiations / Timesheet Savings: Repeatedly met with Finance to convince them to allow test environment team to bill against one entry as opposed to specific projects (distributed across active projects later). Saved 200 manhours per month.
