I am currently a student at Texas A&M University majoring in Technology Management and minoring in Business and Cybersecurity. I now have basic Python programming experience and have become certified in Application Security and Secure Coding Training by Checkmarx Codebashing. I have also had a lot of leadership experience in many different roles. I am a 3rd degree black-belt in Korean Martial Arts and have been teaching all ages since 2016.
My first challenge as a young leader, was having to figure out how to gain the respect of adults who had a hard time learning from a younger leader. Later in 2018 I took over my first program. I was in charge of planning the curriculum, training, and promotions of the Little Dragons class- children ages 3-6. Within the program, I have also taken helpers under my wing and taught them how to be strong leaders and to run portions of the class, effectively. I also have experience in performing in, and choreographing self-defense demonstration performances in front of large crowds; including creating choreographed sequences and preparing a team for show.
I have also developed my leadership skills and communication in my Care-Worker job, and within my academics. I have worked as a special needs caretaker through Outreach Healthcare. I provide assistance with daily routines, and feeding, but also learning to understand and communicate with non-verbal patients. I have also taken lead in many different team projects within school. I focus on giving clear translation of instructions and producing on-time results.
I am a quick learner and am excited to expand my horizons. I have begun my technical training within my academics but I am excited for learning whatever you are willing to teach me!
