Transitioned role to drive completion on a corporate wide Xerox to HP printer refresh that was behind schedule by 6 weeks; completed the project 2 weeks early that allowed Intel to receive a $500K bonus from the new vendor for finishing the refresh early. Due to leadership and vision in making the project a success Eric was asked to manage the transition of the outsourced workforce and take over the Oregon/Washington IT Logistics & Imaging teams, Statement of Work (SOW) and portfolio for six vendors as his previous position was re-organized and outsourced:

  • Led the reorganization of the Logistics and Imaging team at 2 major sites (15 personnel, 1 Lead and five vendors) based on strategic service changes from IT
  • Was pro-active in administering 9,500 sq ft warehouse and additional remote storage locations at 9 campus’s in 3 states which resulted in a cost savings of $250K
  • Managed over $45M in IT products and parts inventory supporting IBM, HP, Apple and Dell onsite warranty depots and ensuring compliance to IT Security directives for P&L
  • Managed PC Refresh for over 25K employees
  • Inventoried product monthly and made policy decisions, ensured product security and rotation (FIFO refresh) for over 65,000 PC's and 25,000 servers in 9 Intel sites
  • Wrote the daily operations guide bringing a positive attitude in the overall governance and direction for the site logistics, audio visual, printing/imaging vendors and services in Oregon and Washington.

  • Built confidence among teams across 5 regions (N America, C/S America, Asia and Europe; 17 divisions and 5 vendors on monthly financials; ensured honest and accurate invoicing, revenue reporting and billings of over $1.9M month in a unique Pay-per-view (charge-back) model.
  • Key contributor in saving Intel $63.9M in savings over 5 years on data center refresh project
  • Built credibility across multiple global IT business silo’s (in 25 sites, 9 states and 13 countries), to provide meaningful and accurate data reports to managers, to ensure compliance to strategic initiatives by consulting, continually communicating, evaluating, adjusting, funding, and developing the life cycle and strategic planning of 160 Service Level Agreements
