Project: DSAR - Data Subject Access Request
Description: In UK, individuals have the right to request a copy of information held about them by LBG, on payment of a fee, this is known as a DSAR (Data Subject Access Request) under the Data Protection Act (DPA). DSARs have to be responded to within 40 days of receipt and the ICO (Office of the Information Commissioner) can apply large penalties if compliance is not met. DSAR process ensures DSAR cases being created are tracked and reported on. The key benefits of implementing a DSAR Process are to a consolidated DSAR case (on Pega) with all relevant information attached, automatic rules to decide what the next steps are, based on the category and the information received (e.g. cases pended if more information is needed or cheque missing etc.), SLA’s managed automatically and cases flagged up if they need attention & Customer data and product holdings data automatically populated (from OCIS) – information about other non-OCIS products can be entered manually.
