Their roadmap was to transition to a new ERP, so that project was intended to bridge the information until more accurate ERP data was available
• Was the Georgia Business Objects User Group Chair for 3 years, providing leadership and coordinating both content and speakers for the quarterly Atlanta meetings. Chaired the very active Steering Committee to collaborate on content that would be of interest to our users.
• Working closely with Global Business Objects Network, I took a Program Manager position for a new special interest group - Web-Intelligence & Desktop Intelligence. I scheduled monthly webinars, training sessions, and collaborated with other SIG leadership teams to drive interest and membership. When ASUG merged with the Business Objects user groups, I assisted in the transition and served on as an ASUG Co-Chair.

• Created a BI Program for Recall, bringing together information and project dependencies that crossed various source systems and isolated BI delivery strategies
• Managed the design and delivery of a Financial Data Mart that provides key revenue metrics and customer segmentation based on revenue thresholds. Reports were delivered via Sharepoint and accessible directly from Salesforce via links at key access points (e.g. company records have a link to see a company overview dashboard with rolling 12 months revenue trends, revenue by line of business, etc.)
• Recall's Data Warehouse load process was not meeting their business SLA of 8 am. I managed a DW Stabilization and Improvements project to tune existing code, diagnose and resolve contention points, establish clear job dependencies, and improve performance. After 3 months, the success rate of meeting the SLA went from 40% to 95%.
• Managed an internal Delivery Automation project to advance several initiatives to improve and automate data translation, deployments, Quality Assurance, and Pre-production environment provisioning. Also managed a SOA Evaluation to determine more cost-effective tool alternatives.
• Managed a Salesforce implementation for Asia from requirements to Alpha testing, working closely with the CRM Program Manager to execute to a global model.

• As part of the core Architecture team, led the definition of the Enterprise BI Strategy for Manheim across all business areas, particularly Finance, Sales/Marketing, and Operations.
• In support of a BI Tool Maturity model, led an Operational Reporting tool evaluation and selection process. This led IT Leadership to acquire a new BI tool and to champion a larger Operational Reporting improvement program.
• As part of the BI Tool Maturity model, provided architectural guidance and leadership to consolidate Manheim's two disparate Business Objects implementations into one (with a lift of 2.5x the core processing power with existing licenses). This established a more robust BI environment to provide reports for an integrated SaleForce.com implementation launched in Q2 2012.
• Work closely with Finance leadership to understand their data challenges, and to stabilize new Oracle tools with configuration gaps. Coordinating closely with the Finance Systems Team, provided architectural guidance to a stabilization team that reset, reconfigured, and customized OBIEE out of box solutions - OPA (Oracle Project Analytics) and OFA (Oracle Financial Analytics) for more optimal use by the Manheim Finance, Digital and IT user communities.
• Provided over-all architectural guidance for BI initiatives within Manheim as an active governing member of the Architectural Review Board for all in-flight projects. • As Finance/IT Liaison, worked on a team to implement a central patient management & accounting system (HealthQuest) thus consolidating the information from 2 disparate hospitals into one. Teamed with the CFO and Finance Team at each facility to identify and formulate an integration strategy to address and unify their financial reporting and reconciliation requirements. Managed a team of 2 during the implementation.
• Built and implemented a "first of it's kind in the U.S" innovative DW (Data Warehouse) solution based on the centralized patient account & management system data. This enabled better information access, as well as unique patient identification across both hospitals. The new DW also supported all data exchanges across the US with Emory, a major innovator in medical research and advancement.
• Hand-picked by CIO to lead the design, development and delivery of a DW for Emory Clinic, who was experiencing severe financial difficulties. This project had experienced 2 prior failed attempts. Completing the task in just 7 months, the system managed information related to medical cost and outcome for over 6 million patients. After completion, Emory Clinic was able to resolve various problem areas in their ERP system which were detected during the data analysis process, as well as competitively bid on Managed Care contracts using prior cost and outcome statistics previously unavailable to key decision-makers. This DW project and the initial DW project created foundation elements for Emory's Customer Master. This project was completed in 7 months with a team of 10 along with a panel of 20 business users.
