- Project: National Poison Data System (NPDS) The American Association of Poison Control Centers is a non-profit, national organization.
- The nation's 60 poison centers as well as other poison-related organizations are members of American Association of Poison Control Centers. Whole integrated system is called National Poison Data System (NPDS).
- All poison centers upload their data file 24/7 to AAPCC server, which is processed and monitored continuously .These data files are binary files, there was no system to read or write binary files.
- Files were processed through integrated system with BizTalk. Designed a system to generate binary files which are kind of replica of the binary files sent by poison centers which in turn helped a to the development team test the business logic to consume the data files and polish validation logic which triggers respective alerts and notification.
- Developed the user interface through ASP.NET Web Forms and the code behind files in C#. Developed web user controls
- Built secured Web Services for Authentication of clients and return processed data, which is used by External systems other than AAPCC.
- Designed various Reports using SSRS 2005/2008.
- Wrote stored procedures, including dynamic queries using T-SQL for data retrieval and data manipulation.
- Managed Configuration Management.
- Developed Engines and Notification Alerts for surveillance and sending out email to the subscribed users.
