The Financial Systems Manager is responsible for supporting the company’s accounting and finance teams through ownership of the administration and maintenance of the general ledger and financial reporting systems at a business process and functional level.

This a full-time permanent position that is 100% remote.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Analyzes financial and administrative processes and system functionality, ensuring compliance with organizational and industry policies and best practices.
  • Collaborates with Global Information Technology (IT), management, and user community to develop strategies for enhancement, improvement, or replacement of systems to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality of data.
  • Oversees and facilitates the installation and maintenance of financial and administrative equipment, applications, and systems.
  • Identifies and recommends upgrades and changes to systems, equipment, and software, maintaining efficient and effective operations in the organization.
  • Facilitates and oversees the support of the financial and administrative systems, ensuring effective and helpful support is provided to end-users.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in financial and administrative systems, technology, best practices, and standards, alerting senior staff of the effects changes will have on the organization’s systems and operations.
  • Coordinates and schedules large-scale process, equipment, or system changes and installations in collaboration with IT and stakeholders.
  • Ensures projects and tasks are completed within specifications, on time, and within budget.
  • Participates in enterprise governance to represent the financial system’s needs, strategies, and business outcomes.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 6+ years of related experience in a Financial Systems Management role.
  • Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and Power BI.
  • Experience planning and implementing global ERP transformations.
  • Experience managing and working with 3rd party transformation partners and resources.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Desire to work in a dynamic, fast-moving organization.
  • Excellent written and presentation skills coupled with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
