Seeking a Senior Hadoop Architect for hands-on role developing and managing Hadoop applications.

Experience required:

• 5-8 years related work experience or equivalent combination of transferable experience and education
• IT development/programming/coding and architecture within a Hadoop Environment.
• Management of development, deployment and monitoring of Hadoop applications
• Hands-on developer who can do code reviews.
• Real time streaming application experience with Kafka.
• Migration of Hadoop platforms needing expertise on HDP and Cloudera distributions
• Building mature and performant data pipelines, consolidation of them and building framework
• Complete life cycle of Hadoop solution including work estimation, managing project work and execution,
• Work with business partners/Internal Teams
• Design technical architecture and application design
• Deep knowledge of Hadoop eco system components
• Hands-on, strong background on Spark / Scala including storage, code and execution optimization.
• Versed in semi-structured data, NoSQL and document databases
• Good understanding of standardization, security, governance and compliance
• Building blue prints data centric solutions of metrics, dashboards and alerts
• Adhere to architecture standards building resilient and scalable architecture
