Seeking a Desktop Engineer with 4+ years of experience in end user computing or desk side support.
- Solve technical problems and provide support to level 1 and 2 users.
- Ensure the processing and resolution of requests using the ticketing system in place.
- Ensure the installation of hardware and software components.
- Configure equipment, perform installations for users and ensure performance monitoring.
- Participate in writing and updating IT documentation.
- Update hardware and software inventory.
- Participate in various IT projects, installations and updating of the IT equipment.
- Keep up to date with technological developments related to the industry.
- Excellent analytical skills, logical thinking and good problem-solving skills.
- Maintain full ownership of ticket through its lifecycle. Ensuring all processes are implemented and operationally managed.
- MS Office Suite/0365/Active Directory troubleshooting and support
- Schedule Dell/HP engineers to conduct incident activity.
- Utilizes the KB and other support documentation to identify, isolate, diagnose and resolve end user’s technical problems and provide information and status as requested.
