We are looking for a highly capable Senior Algorithm Developer / Computer Vision Engineer with demonstrated experience in supervised Machine Learning; specifically: object detection and object classification, to optimize and extend the detection of features in images. This role will evaluate existing ML processes to enhance the accuracy of our Artificial Intelligence software’s predictive automation capabilities. This is a full-time, exempt position located at our corporate headquarters in Jacksonville, FL., and reports to the Chief Technology Officer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead a small AI development team; collaborate with Software, Information Technology, Engineering, and Project Management teams in the development and delivery of high performing machine learning systems.
• Design machine learning systems and self-running artificial intelligence applications to automate predictive models according to customer requirements.
• Run tests, perform statistical analysis, and interpret test results to optimize performance.
• Train and retrain systems when necessary.
• Keep abreast of AI developments and machine learning advancements.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Advanced proficiency with Python, Google Tensorflow, SQL, and knowledge of PHP.
• Extensive knowledge of ML frameworks, libraries, data structures, data modeling, image detection/object classification, and associated software architecture.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Expertise in mathematics, statistics, and algorithms.

• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Master’s degree preferred. A combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
• At least 4 years’ experience as a Machine Learning engineer with demonstrated capabilities in supervised ML object detection/classification.
