Seeking an eCommerce Payment Product Manager for a full-time permanent position in Jacksonville, Florida to work for one of the fastest growing US online retailers.

In this role, you will be responsible for the overall online payment experience of our customers.
You will ensure that the payment process for our customers is a seamless, easy and enjoyable experience. You will confirm that our current payment methods (credit cards and PayPal) work efficiently and cost-effective. You will monitor and research the market of modern payment providers, such as Affirm, Klarna, BillPay, and select the best partners for the company's future.
This position will require “an outside-the-box thinker” who loves to research the latest payment trends within the eCommerce business space so that they can confidently make recommendations to influence key stakeholders on the payment methods that make sense for the company. You will be the SME and "evangelist" on all payment processes.
You be responsible for handling external relationships with payment providers and you will work collaboratively with the cross-functional teams to implement efficient payment processes in the organization.
Job Duties
- Monitor and review the success of existing payment options for our customers and update appropriate parties within the company and provide recommendations.
- Research and evaluate market developments for modern eCommerce payment methods to evaluate and choose the correct partners for the future.
- Negotiate contracts with payment providers on a regular basis to confirm the company is receiving the most up-to-date and cost-effective service.
- Be an internal expert in eCommerce payments processing to assist in solving daily payments issues creatively and effectively.
- Work with external partners in fraud prevention and payment processing to provide the highest level of protection and service for our customers.
- Inform, influence, support, and execute initiatives focused on reducing payment costs and redundancies within the business.

- Accountable for communicating cross-functionally across the organization including additional companies within the parent organization on best practices for online payment processing systems.

Qualifications
- Proven track record, with 3 years related experience in eCommerce and payment operations or product management and knowledge and experience in e-commerce fraud prevention a plus.
- Strong understanding of credit card brand rules and regulations, the payments acceptance process and systems involved in the process, basic engineering awareness of the technical payment process.
- Possesses in-depth knowledge of e-commerce payment best practices including the latest modern payment methods such as PayPal, Affirm, and Klarna.
- Prior related experience and demonstrated success in negotiating contracts with external partners.
- Ability to multi-task, meet multiple deadlines, and work in a high pace environment.
- Communicates effectively and proactively with all levels of the organization, and possesses strong written communication skills.
- Strategic thinker capable of presenting to and driving internal stakeholders to a consensus on important issues.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to drive and implement ideas in a changing environment.
