Seeking a Junior Mechanical or Civil Engineer with TS/SCI Clearance for opportunity in Arlington, Virginia.

Responsibilities

  • Support Balanced Survivability Assessments (BSA) phases to identify operational, planning, analysis improvements and design changes
  • Continually evaluate and assess risk and reliability factors
  • Develop Project Requirements Statements
  • Develop and maintain facility and communication systems criterial documents
  • Building Information Management System Development and Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools
  • Project Management of critical facilities and communication infrastructure

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering with at least two (2) years of MEP design experience OR four (4) years of practical experience in facility construction or maintenance of facility equipment and systems
  • Active DoD TS security clearance with SCI eligibility that has been adjudicated in the last 5 years or in designated CE status and the ability to obtain and maintain special accesses
  • Proficient with Computer Aided Design Programs and Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, Power Point and Project)
  • Familiar with applicable Federal and Department of Defense law, regulatory and guidance documents
  • Knowledge of engineering principles of building design, facility systems, utilities, critical infrastructure, including but not limited to:
    • Ability to read and understand facility and system drawings, diagrams and schematics
    • Ability to provide timely deliverables and reports to customer IAW established procedures and protocols
    • Ability to perform day-to-day engineering reviews, maintenance data system reviews, including workload planning and workload management
    • Ability to analyze data and assure facility mission readiness and baseline system capabilities are met
    • Ability to interact with customers effectively in resolving routine problems
    • Ability to adapt to changing work requirements and priorities
    • Ability to use good judgment and personal initiative in recognizing appropriate action to be taken for completion of tasks
    • Ability to interact with people who have different values, cultures, or backgrounds
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification (preferred)
