Seeking an AVP - Anti-Financial Crime Information & Reporting Manager with Tableau Visualization, SQL skills for a position in Jacksonville, Florida.

Overview:

The Regulatory Control Advisor assists with specific Level 1 control advice, under supervision if necessary, and has regular interaction with the front office was required as part of their process. The Regulatory Control Advisor proactively develops and maintains consultative working relationships with the advisory team and works with subject matter experts and other teams from across the function. The advisory workflow is governed by established policies, clearly defined processes, and escalation points.

The AFC team is accountable for protecting from financial and reputational losses incurred by financial crimes by assessing, controlling, and mitigating risks. You would be primarily responsible for providing timely, accurate, and actionable intelligence to a variety of internal and external stakeholders to support Management decision-making and regulatory reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of a strategic reporting platform and framework for AFC using Hadoop Hive, Impala along with Tableau
  • Lead and continuously drive execution of the AFC MI & Reporting Team’s Book of Work
  • Lead and manage a team of up to 4 MI developers; provide technical guidance and mentoring for team members
  • Create, maintain & enhance regular, periodic & ad hoc MI reports and Tableau Dashboards
  • Implement automated solutions and data quality controls to improve accuracy, efficiency, visibility, and quality of data
  • Keep abreast of reporting technologies to drive efficiency and automation within the current AFC reporting landscape
  • Keep abreast of new rules, regulations, and reputation risks to develop, implement and revise current policies & procedures
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Access & Excel, including pivot tables, macros, filtering, and sorting
  • Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment
  • Experience working with AML or financial data systems

You will have:

  • Good hands-on experience with the Tableau visualization tool
  • Strong SQL skills are required
  • Programming experience with Python
  • 5 years of work experience in the financial, compliance, legal, regulatory, and/or data-driven industry.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Data Visualization Tools (e.g. Tableau).
  • Good experience in Computer Science, database design, SQL, ETL processes, and data mining.
  • Experience using statistical programming languages (e.g. SAS, R, Python).
  • AML Skills is desirable
  • Big Data experience is desirable
